Dressing up

Addie has really been into dressing up lately. I wish I had a picture of all the outfits she has put together. One day this week she was Snow White all day. Last Saturday she had to wear her Mickey Ears all morning. On Tuesday she discovered her winter clothes and had her rain boots, winter coat, her Snow White Dress and one of my scarfs on...and it was 92 degrees outside! I love watching Addie be soooooo creative.....I wonder where she gets it from?!?

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is my friend

Addie loves to color....the only problem is she loves to color everything....including our tile floor. So she got to use her favorite cleaning product the "magic eraser" to get the crayon off the floor. It took her a lot longer to clean it up then it did for her to color it....there might have been some tears also :(

Park at the Mall

We went to the malls library the other day and then outside to their park, but Addie was so excited about her books she just sat under the tree reading her books while her friend Benjamin, Lucy, and JJ ran around.
So not the normal for miss Addie :)

The new Whole Foods

We went to the new Whole Foods a couple of weeks ago but I'm just not getting the pictures up. Adelynn really likes the shopping carts at Whole Foods and on this trip they had samples of yo-baby yogurt! I think this is now her favorite place to shop!

Addie letting everyone in the store know who is in the drivers seat :)

Ten on Tuesday

  1. I'm doing my 10 on Tuesday on Monday night.
  2. I'm still eating brownies....more than i should! In fact I gained 5 lbs last week. I would be worried about this but I hadn't gained any weight in the 3 weeks prior so the doctor and I were happy to see me gain some weight. But maybe I should slow down on the brownies.....
  3. Addie has been very successful this week in potty training herself. The key is to let her run around naked all day. She has now gone poo poo 3 time in the potty. She gets so excited every time she goes on the big girl potty- We'll be driving down the road and she'll say "I did it, I did it!!!!" I ask her what she did and she says "I went on the big girl potty!" She talks about it all day, she is so proud of herself!
  4. TMI- Bailey (the dog) has eaten Addie's poo poo 2 of the 3 time. Addie says " Gross Bailey! NO! NO! don't eat my poo poo!!!! Gross!"
  5. I'm 70% effaced and 2cm dilated. The doctor has told me that she thinks I'll be early.....She better be right because I'm ready! This kid needs to come out!
  6. Watching Oprah- Have any of you read Eat, Pray, Love? It looks good.
  7. I think Sherlock is depressed he has been sleeping more than normal. Craig thinks I'm crazy.
  8. The hot weather has come to Texas it has been 90 for the last couple of days should be the rest of the week. This is not good when you are 38 week pregnant- My feet and hands are huge!!!! Thank God I won't be pregnant during the hottest part of the summer.
  9. I'm very upset my doctor told me I shouldn't go to the lake house for Memorial day :( However Craig is very excited because we aren't going to the lake house.
  10. My parents are heading this way sometime this week. YEAH!!!! Addie is so excited that they are coming. She keeps saying "I go to Grandma & PaPas house?"

Ten on Tuesday

  1. I'm sooooo pregnant today I put the milk away in our pantry.
  2. Brownies with white icing are my favorite thing at this moment. In fact I've had to run to the store 3 times in the last 2 weeks to fulfill this craving.
  3. Addie was potty trained for a day- no accidents- then we took her to ToysRus to get her reward and since then she has de-potty trained herself :(
  4. My mom retires next Monday VERY exciting!
  5. If you are in the Santa Paula area this weekend go and check out the garage sale at my parents- EVERYTHING MOST GO! They are moving into an RV very soon.
  6. I'm already dilated 1 1/2!!!!! I didn't dilate with Adelynn until they induced me. My doctor things I'll be early! Keeping my fingers crossed!
  7. Addie and I are enjoying this weather.
  8. The 10th graders at church held an amazingly sweet baby shower for Asher this past Sunday. Thank you all!!! Asher is going to be so loved by these girls!
  9. Craig's diet is getting easier on me. I have found some really yummy recipes.
  10. Asher room is done! Well I still need to get a lamp shade. And finally pictures as promised

ABC- cross stitch was made my Craig's Aunt Camille for his nursery Vicki had it framed for Asher's room

This little Norman Rockwell pictures were in Craig's bathroom when he was a kid. Last year we had a family garage sell and Vicki was going to sell them- my non-sentimental husband (I'm being very serious) couldn't believe his mom was selling them. We ended up taking them home- which worked out great because I love them in Asher's room

M-line trolley ride

Our MOPS group got together to ride the M-line trolley last week. The Trolley is a great activity to do here in Dallas- it's free! Plus the kids love it!

We all meet up at Starbucks for a little snack first.

KiKi reading to Addie, Arturo and Beckett

Arturo is one of Addie's favorite MOPS friend ;)

Mommy and Addie waiting for the trolley.

Addie & KiKi at the start of the ride.
Yes, I did Addies hair but it was humid and the trolley has no AC.

Addie, miss Jayme and Harper

After riding the trolley for 40 minutes the kids started to get a little restless so miss Lindsey pulled out a book to read to the kiddos!

I wish Addie looked a little happier in this picture. It looks like she wasn't having a good time BUT she had a blast and talked about the trolley the rest of the week.

Arlington Highlands 5K Run

Before you get too excited at the idea that I at 36 week along ran a 5K don't be fooled we just went to support Do-Dad's shopping center.

A couple of weekends ago we went to Arlington to check out the 5K run and family fun day.

Do-Dad was very excited about the morning activities so we got there a little too early (45 minutes) so since we were so early due to his timing- he got to entertain Adelynn.

Before you run you must warm up-
Do-Dad helped Addie get ready for the kid's 50 yard dash by warming up with the exercise lady.

The guy on stage kicked of the events. I should know who he is but all I remember is that he used to play for the cowboys.

The kids 50 yard dash...can you find Addie amongst this older kids?????

There she is!!!! in the back- she runs fast but 8 year olds have longer legs!

Do-Dad and Addie watching the 5Ker start there race.
Once the race started we headed over to Mimi's for breakfast....yummy!

After breakfast we let Adelynn play in the bounce house for while and then we headed home. It was a fun filled morning. Maybe next year I'll run.....

Ten on Tuesday

  1. Now that the summer is fast approaching Adelynn and I are finding our calendar filled with more free time. Thursday morning Bible Study is now over and we only have one more MOPS meeting. How will we fill our days....Oh yeah Asher is coming soon!
  2. My Dad is now retired- Monday was his last day. YEAH DAD! Now he has to get the house ready by the 23rd so mom and him can come visit us and start their dream of RVing across the USA.
  3. We have been trying to get Addie ready for Asher arrival. We got some books from the library about babies. When you ask her what Asher is going to do she say and then acts out- crying, eating and sleeping. very cute!
  4. Craig has been soooooo good on his new food plan I am so proud of him. He has a follow up visit to the doctors this Friday. I hope the doctor see an improvement.
  5. Addie started telling me to "hush" yesterday. I thought it was cute Craig thought it was disrespectful. So now she is only allowed to tell the dogs to hush.
  6. We got Adelynn a pool last week she spent a couple of hours on Wednesday. We had strong winds and a little rain the next couple of day so she couldn't go swimming again until Saturday. So we got her dressed and then took her outside to go swimming. She wouldn't go in "Yucky! dirty!" is all she would say. The wind had blown some dirt and leaves in the pool and she wouldn't go in until we clean it. So funny because the lake is much dirtier then her pool yet she'll go in the lake! Funny girl!
  7. The furniture in Asher's room is now where it belongs- however the pictures aren't up so you'll have to wait until next week for pictures of his finished room
  8. I am feeling very pregnant. My feet and hand are very puffy, and my hand go numb while I sleep :(
  9. Because of Craig's new eating lifestyle I now get to go to 3 grocery stores each week. Whole foods, Sams, and Tom Thumb. This has taken away from Addie and my playtime. Good thing our calendar is clearing up :)
  10. Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad- They are an amazing example to Craig and I.

New Pool

We got a new pool last week. Addie "helped" Craig and I get it set up.

Then she tried it out before the water was added.

Finally after what most of seemed like forever for miss Addie Mae she got to go swimming in her pool.

Last Mavs home game

My father in law David has great seat for the MAVS. He is so good about sharing the tickets with us kids. Craig only went to one game he doesn't fully appreciate the sport.

The Wilson's are starting Adelynn early. Whenever she see Basketball either on TV or on a court somewhere she cheers "GO MAVS!"

My mom has been trying to teach her to say "go lakers" but for some reason it just hasn't caught on at our house.
Doesn't it look like I have a basketball under my jersey-HAHA!

I had plans last Tuesday so I wasn't going to be able to go to the game (I was super sad about this) but at the last minute they changed (thank you Craig for getting a migraine) So David gave me his ticket and I went to the game with my bother in law Matt. We had a great time and the Mavs won....
unfortunately they lost the next game and we are now done for the season :(
