Asher is Going to Kill Claire......

With LOVE!!!!!!!

Asher loves "baby" sooooo much.

Asher has tried to carry Claire on numerous occasions. He hugs Claire many many times a day and his hugs are like a death grips to our little peanut.

When he hears Claire cry he is the first to arrive.

He tries to crawl into Claire's crib and swing with her.

Asher is so proud of his baby sister he shows her off to everyone!

He announces to anyone that will listen "BABY!"

For Adelynn's birthday she got a gift card from Aunt Shelly and Aunt Rachelle and some money from KiKi and Do-Dad. Daddy and I thought she had gotten enough presents at her birthday and with Christmas coming up we made her put it away for something in the future.

We didn't wait too long but after Christmas Adelynn mentioned that she really wanted a bike for Christmas...to bad she didn't tell Santa this before Christmas:)

Anyways we told Addie if she did chores we would help her buy a bike. Adelynn worked hard and earned enough to add to her gift to get her bike.

A couple days after Claire was born we took her to Toys R Us to get her bike. We tried to guide Adelynn in picking out her bike but she knew what she wanted- a pink Belle bike.

We took Adelynn to Caruth Park for a ride.

After a couple of laps of the park the kids wanted to play!

Daddy's friend Chris and his little boy Haynes joined us for the fun!

It was really cold so daddy let Asher borrow his gloves.

My friend is going to come over and take more pictures of Claire and her siblings in the next couple of weeks. Hope all the kids look at the camera at the same time.

Claire first days

My due date was Monday, January 9th 2012. I had a feeling since I found out that I was pregnant that I would be late. When I started my weekly appointments and I wasn't showing any progression I knew I was going to be late and that I would probably be induced. I went to the doctor for a check up 2 days after my due date. I was measuring small and there was no signs of Claire coming anytime soon, so I scheduled an induction date.

Well I made it to my induction date 9 days after my due date.

Craig and I checked in at 6 a.m. My pitocin started by 9 ish, epidural was around 10, 1 push and Claire arrived at 12:27.
We did have a couple of issues, Claire's cord was wrapped around her and she was covered in meconium. But the wonderful nurses and Dr. Speight took care of us!
