Adelynn's Christmas preformance

Adelynn's class preformed 4 songs during the school Christmas performance. 

Addie did a great job of not picking her nose or doing the pee pee dance.

I recently realized I have very few pictures with my kiddos.

 So my New Years resolution a little early is to try and get more family pictures.

A Very Gilmore Christmas

We celebrated Christmas a couple of weeks early with my family. We had lunch at Celebration, one of my favorite family restaurants in Dallas.

After lunch we returned home to open gifts.

Uncle Scotty always tries to find a gift that the kids will love and the parents will hate. I think

the pottery wheel fits perfectly in this category. I think I'll let daddy deal with this mess!

Addie's Build a Bear Birthday

For Addie's final birthday celebration we took her and 8 of her closest friends to Build-a-Bear. This was Adelynn's first experience at Build-A-Bear. She has visited the store many times but she has never gotten to  make a bear.

We had a Bear leader to take the kids to each stop- She was amazing with the kiddos.

First the kids picked between 2 bears a brown bear or a tan bear.

Each child got 2 hearts one to put in their bear and one to put in the birthday girl's bear.

Than the kids sat in a circle and waited patiently while each bear was filled with fluff.

The dads helped with the younger siblings.

After all the bears were full of fluff the kiddos got to pick out bows to accessories their bears.

The Build-A-Bear staff gave Addie a Doodle Bear for her friends to autograph.

Once our bears were made we headed up to the food court for a cookie cake and milk.

Than it was present time.

Everytime these girls are together I try to get a good picture. Avery's Daddy and Addie's Daddy have been best friends for a longtime, and I have a feeling these 2 girls will be buddy for a long time also.

Build-A-Bear is a great place to have a birthday party. So easy and not too expensive! We might have to have another party at Build-A-Bear in the future.

Addie's Birthday Dinner Party

 For Addie's birthday she wanted all her family to come over for special time together. She was very excited to be hosting a "dinner party." Addie requested pizza, blueberries, and brownies for dessert all her favs!

 As soon as her guest arrived she wanted to open her gifts, she had been waiting all day and couldn't wait any longer!

She was also excited about the books Grandma and Papa got her.

But her favorite gift from her grandparents was her pillow pet!

 I wish I would have video her reaction it was priceless.

Krisy Kremes

We decorated Addie's bedroom door for her birthday. And than we waited, and waited, and waited for her to wake up so we could wish her a Happy Birthday and head out for a special breakfast.

We all headed out to Krispy Kreme for a special birthday breakfast.

Thank you Mama Charlene

Mama Charlene little birdie flew all the way from Ventura, Ca to our backyard a couple of weeks ago. Addie loves it! I love it because she spend an hour playing dress up with our new little goose.
