Getting the house ready for Christmas

Addie playing with her little people nativity play set

Can you tell that Addie put most of the ornaments on the tree?!?!

 Asher trying to help!
Addie put all her favorites on one branch;)

More pictures to come.....

Christmas card pictures

My brother in law Luke offered to take our pictures for us this year. He did great because he was fast and KiKi did a good job of trying to get everyone looking at the camera.

A little look into our "photo session"

Getting Asher set up...with Addie waiting patiently....

Get the bow and hat on....

Addie and Asher not looking.....
funny smile from Addie....

 I think Addie is done....
Lets try a picture with Addie on daddies shoulders!
still working out the kinks...
Would be a cute picture but- You can't see Addie!

Let's try something else

would be cute but it's a little blurry
 and the winner!

Addie is now done showing Asher love,
I wish we got a video of her pushing her little brother off her lap!

Asher in his bumbo

I think Asher has got a great smile- he is the happiest baby when he isn't crying ;)

 Sitting nicely....

and not trying to get out!

Trolley Ride

Our Mops group went on a ride on the M-line Trolley last week. Only Adelynn and her friend Charlotte came but we had lots of fun riding the trolley and a yummy lunch at Cafe Express, where KiKi and Daddy met up with us.

Fair Park Children's Aquarium

With our zoo membership we get to go to the Children's Aquarium for their sneak peek. The Aquarium has been closed for a long time getting renovated. Yesterday we took a trip to check it out. It's not totally ready a lot of the tanks were still empty. But we still had a lot of fun!

 Stingrays

Watching the sharks getting fed their lunch.

I wanted to take a picture of Adelynn and the swordfish but she wouldn't get very close. It's kinda of funny because she has recently developed a fear of some things, when a couple of months ago she was fearless!

Many of the tanks are waiting for their new fishie friends

Addie has been learning about habitats and this was a perfect "field trip" to learn more.

Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens

Saturday the kids and I headed over to Fr. Worth to visit Uncle Scotty. We went to the Botanical Gardens to see the fall colors and to let Adelynn run around and get her energy out.

Story time at Audelia Library

We went to our local library for story time this week, a first for us. We've been going here to get books but their story time is the same time as Fretz Library and we go there to hang out with our friends. But today we went to Audelia and their story time is amazing! The kids got a lesson, 2 stories, dance time, a puppet singing and the puppet also taught the kids how to make soup, and musical instrument time. Addie was in heaven. After story time we got our books and went to the library playground and played with some new friends.
Sorry Fretz friends we might start going to Audelia on Friday!

The librarian Miss Carol did a lesson on how vegetables grow

Story time- The theme this week was food- where do we get it, how does it grow?, what do you eat....

Addie and Uncle Scotty

Uncle Scotty has moved to TEXAS! He arrived Sunday night and has been staying with us the past couple of days. He has been busy getting things ready for his apartment but he has still found time to play with Adelynn.

Scotty played the piano for Addie this morning. He played Little Mermaid music and I think Addie now has a new favorite Uncle. I can say this because I don't think Luke or Matt read the blog ;)

Asher first solid

Halloween with friends

Halloween night we went trick or treating in Craig's parents neighborhood. Their neighbors give good candy!
Addie's BFF's JJ, B, & L came with us!

JJ- was a cat, Addie- sushi, B-a monkey, and L- a renaissance princess
B- dressed his stuffed bat in a sock he was a ghost....so cute!

 Our first house
No one could tell what Addie was. They would say "She is sooooo cute....what is she?" We'd tell them and then they'd say "That is so cute, what a great idea." Next time she is an unusual thing we'll put a sign on the back so when she turn around everyone will know what she is supposed to be :)
The 3 older kids wanted to hold Craig's hand crossing the street.

Craig did a great job keeping the kids safe crossing the street! Way to go Daddy!
