More fun outside

Addie and I played outside trying out Adelynn's new swimsuit and "rain"brella. Asher was inside with Daddy but he really wanted to come outside and play with us.

Happy at last!

Outside fun!

Addie's first MAVS game

I asked Addie if she wanted to come to a Mavs game with me and she said "Addie says yes!"
So last Thursday we headed to the American Airlines Arena to watch the Mavs and the Timber Wolves.

Addie had 2 favorites at the game.
1) The beginning when all the lights went out and the cheerleaders came out and they announced the players.

Addie fell in love with the cheerleaders, she kept asking  when they were going to come out and dance again. Here's a little video of Adelynn trying to dance with the cheerleaders from her seat.

2) The ice cream!

It was a great night but can you tell from the picture how tired Addie was by the end!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Uncle Luke's birthday was last week so we headed over to his office to drop off some birthday goodies. Addie loves visiting her uncles and Do-Dad at work!

Luke and I share a love of Angry Birds so I made him these special cupcakes.

Slappy's Puppet Playhouse

A couple of weeks ago Addie and one of our playgroups went to see The Little Mermaid at Slappy's playhouse. Addie got a seat in the front row while I sat on the side with Asher so the pictures aren't the best :(  At the end of the show they announced that the next show will be Rapunzel. Adelynn wouldn't leave because she thought it was going to start in just a couple of minutes. So I think we'll be returning to Slappy's Puppet Playhouse agian. Addie really enjoyed the show, I found it a little cheesy but the show was for Adelynn not me.

Addie modeling some new clothes

We went to the Allen outlet mall Monday with Grandma. We went to get her new swimsuits for the summer. But Grandma has been dying to get Addie a rain slicker so that was also added to the shopping trip.

These pictures are a little blurry but so much fun! I asked Addie to model her swimsuit and she started dancing and posing for me. I wish I would have gotten some video of her!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Last Saturday the family went to the Dallas St. Patrick's Day Parade. We got there early so we did a little shopping in old town.

We took Addie to her 2 favorite stores in that shopping center Pets Mart and Michaels.

Addie buying her St. Patrick's beads for the parade.

We found a spot to have an early lunch, Adelynn was very excited to have a picnic. We found a little grassy area in front of McDonald's on Greenville to eat. As soon as I got the food out we heard the crowd go crazy along with some bagpipes and a firetruck. So we jumped up and ran over to get a look.

Addie watched the parade for maybe 5 minutes and was ready to go finish her picnic.  Addie ate and danced around and had a grand ole' time!

Praying for Japan

As many of you know I got the opportunity to travel to Japan a couple of years ago. It was an awesome trip. Watching the news the last couple of days has been heart breaking. I hope you all are praying for Japan.

A great website that has before and after pictures

I thought I would share a couple of pictures from my trip.
