Ten on Tuesday

  1. Addie was playing at wiggles today and kept looking at me and saying "mommy this is so much fun!" ....when did she start talking in complete sentences?
  2. I started nesting last week. I cleaned the garage, pantry, laundry room, & office. The rest of the house looks a mess but the things people don't see is super organized....well organized in Heather fashion.
  3. I finally sold our kitchen table and chairs on Craig's list this past weekend. My garage looks empty....well not super empty since Craig still can't park in it. I guess I should say clean.
  4. Craig got a parking ticket....he parks his car the wrong direction in front of our house. He was making such a big deal about it. I finally asked "how much is the ticket?' - " $45" What's the big deal! You've been parking the wrong direction for a year and your tags are expired you should be happy the ticket is only $45!
  5. Addie got her haircut Saturday by our friend Cheryl. It's so cute! She kinda of has bangs now.
  6. I'm thinking about having a pamper chef catalog party. Do you need to buy anything?
  7. Addie started swim lessons today. She is a little fish. I got her in her swim clothes and then she asked "swim?' I said yes! and she ran to the car. This was a first because she is usually kicking and screaming when I try to put her in the car.
  8. Have I mentioned that we decided on a name for our little boy- Asher Robert Wilson
  9. Whenever I call the baby Asher, Adelynn adds "we all fall down"
  10. Tires and Heather don't mix- I've had to replace at least one tire a year since getting married. Today I had a flat tire, I had to get 2 new tires UGH!!!!! The tire had 3 nails, 1 hole and tons of wear and tear. It was time but still!--just some of my tire history--- I busted 2 of my parents tires last May. And when Aunt Shellie was here last spring I blew a tire! Craig and I really need to get stock in tires!

Snow days

Last week we got 12 inches of snow, which isn't a big deal except Dallas hasn't had this much snow in over 20 years. Some of our friends and family lost power but we were lucky enough to be warm and cozy in our house!
Addie loved the snow. She would go out 3-4 times a day for a couple of minutes. The dogs like snow more than rain so they even joined in the fun.

The snow was up to Bailey's back.

Addie taking Bailey for a walk.

Making a snowman with Daddy.

Addie and Daddy only got 2 parts of the snowman done. They got to cold and came in.

I love Craig

How'd I get so lucky!
I thank God for Craig daily- I also know that he is going to hate this post, but he won't let me spend money on him for Valentines day sooooooo
Happy Valentines Day Baby- I love you!

  • He works hard so I can stay home and play with Addie!
  • He is an amazing musician and he shares this gift with others. He is the high school Sunday morning worship leader- He doesn't just tell the students what to do but he teaches them how to become better musicians and how to be a leader. I love watching the students step out of their comfort zone and grow in God because of my husbands example.

  • He loves my cooking as long as there are no onions.

  • He understands that a stay at home mom's job is just as crazy as his work and he fully appreciates what I do during the day.

  • He loves his family and would do anything for them...well maybe not yard work :)

  • He loves my family and even the weekly calls with computer questions from my mom and her friends.

  • He loves me even when I'm mean....which is never because as you all know i'm perfect- HA HA HA
  • He cuddles with me (sometimes) even though he hates to cuddle.
  • He is an amazing Daddy - He is the one that insisted we wait in line to see the princesses at Disneyland. - He gives Adelynn a bath every night and if he misses it because of other plans he is sad. -He is very protective of his little girl. - He plays dress up with her. -He helps teach her Sunday School class once a month. -He always makes time for family day.

  • He lets me go to Starbucks more then it's in my budget :)
  • He loves the zoo!

  • His favorite vacation is going on Curises- which works because it's my favorite way to travel also.

Painting

Sunday we started working on valentine's day art for the family. Addie enjoyed painting with sponge hearts and also with her nose- Thanks Do-Dad for that!

Addie love princesses!

When you play with princesses you most dress in your best princess dress.

Don't forget about Daddy!

Poor Bailey- I see lots of dress up in his future.

NBA All-Star Jam Session

The All-Star game is in Dallas this weekend. We got to go to the NBA jam session Wednesday night.
While the big kids- David, Maci, Luke, & Matt played in a basketball competition, Adelynn headed over to the kid zone. They had tons of fun planned for the kids.

Addie in the bouncy house obstacle course.
Funny story- Addie was really too small to go through but she wanted to try, so I let her. She wouldn't go past the first part. I kept saying "follow that little boy!" "follow those girls!" Anyways she finally started following other kids and then she got stuck! there was a big inflatable "rock" wall inside you have to climb to get out and she was too small.

But these 2 nice girls helped Addie get up so she could

come down the slide and finish

She did it! With a little help.

Addie watched the big kids for a couple of minutes then the man that worked the booth let Addie try. She got to go in the booth to shoot baskets- the only problem was she didn't want to give the other kids a turn- she was having so much fun.

Let it SNOW!

The back yard before Addie and the dogs got to it.

Ready to play!

I love this picture!
She tried to close her door but there was too much snow. She was going to go down the slide but she changed her mind.

Snow! Snow! everywhere-
"look mommy snow trees!"

All our footprints!

- When Addie woke up I had her look out the window- in a small excited voice I hear "snow! snow!" She had a huge smile. Last time it snowed she didn't get to play in it so this time we went out before breakfast for some fun!
