IN-N-Out
Well I finally made it to In-N-Out. I tried on opening day but when the drive-thru line was over half a mile, I turned around and went home.
Wednesday after dropping Adelynn off to school Asher and I headed to Allen for my first Texas Double Double. I only had to wait 20 minutes! It was soooooo good!
Craig and I are planning on going next week, anyone want to come with?

Ten on Tuesday
- The kids are taking swimming, Addie does not like to float. Asher can float but he cries the entire lesson.....so sad :(
- We went to the lake this past weekend and just RELAXED! I have a feeling we will be up at Kiowa most of the summer.
- We went to the zoo Monday and are planning on going Friday. I'm trying to get as many trips in as I can before it hit's 100.
- For Mother's Day Addie threw up in my NEW car! Not just a little throw up but TONS! It cleaned up and the car doesn't smell, which shocked me!
- Craig is trying to be healthy. He is eating smaller portions and has been running on my treadmill (which I never use).
- BIG NEWS- In-N-Out is opening in North Texas. On Wednesday it's opening in Allen & Frisco. I'm thinking that I'll be dropping Adelynn off at school and than heading up to Allen to have some amazing California food! Still don't know when the In-N-Out on 75 will be opening so I'll have to drive 15 minutes north for my first Texas Double Double.
- Asher wants to walk everywhere. He is no longer happy to be in stroller or grocery carts, he wants to explore with his sissy.
- Still loving my van.
- Mavs rule.
- Our cleaning lady comes on Wednesdays and I find the need to "clean" my house before she comes....I know it's kinda of stupid....I think tonight I'm going to leave all the stuff out and hope she doesn't quit when she see the real us...........

Happy Mother's Day!
For Mother's day Craig gave me the day off and his dad gave me and Vicki tickets to the Mav's playoff game.
This game was very important to Mav Fans- The Mavs were enter this game with a 3 game winning streak and if they won Sunday's game against the Lakers we would be advancing to the Western Finals.
Vicki and me on our Mother's day date
The fans were crazy loud!
One of the 20, 3 pointers the boys made
The game was one for the history books. The Lakers didn't show much class when 2 of their players got thrown out within 45 seconds of each other. Not the best way to send your coach into retirement. The game was great, the Mavs bench did an amazing job. So proud to be a Mavs fan and can't wait til the next game!
Do you see the score!

Ten on Tuesday
1. The weather has been great the past couple of weeks (minus the past couple of days). We've been trying to get to the park or zoo a couple of times a week!
Addie at Coffee Park
3. MOPS is over for the year and so is Ladies Bible Study- What will we do!!!!!
5. Last year Addie was obsessed with birthday parties this year is Christmas! She talks about it ALL the time. She tells me "When Christmas comes Grandma and PaPa are coming"
Addie with Princess Kate
8. Today was a little cold so we headed over to Ft. Worth's Science Museum.
Addie checking out.
Asher even got some shopping in!
Addie and Asher doing a little team work
10. We got a new van a couple of weeks ago. I never thought I'd want a van but I love it! It is so made for moms- you push a button and the doors open, I don't have to worry about Addie hitting another car when she opens the door, it has so much room, the GPS is amazing, and, and , and.............I could go on forever!
If you are looking to buy a car Ross at John Eagle in Dallas was great to work with and he'll even talk to you about The Real Housewives of ________ if you interested!
Adelynn's choir
Addie has been in choir this year at church and they had a performance last week. Addie was the star, now I know what your thinking of course you think she was the star she's your daughter, no Addie was the STAR. Many parents have come up to me and said "Your daughter cracked me up!" What did Adelynn do that was so funny? Did she lift her dress and show her panties? Did she pick her nose? Was she running around the stage? No she screamed all the words to the song! The video is not the best quality but at least you can get a little taste of the show. It was so much fun!
Thank you Aunt Catherine for coming I think you coming was more exciting then her ice cream!
Cupcake Camp Dallas
I love baking cupcakes, I love reading blogs about cupcakeries, I love clothes with cupcakes on them, I love eating cupcakes...I love cupcakes!
A couple of weeks ago Dallas had their first cupcake camp. What is a cupcake camp you ask? Well it's where pro bakers and newbies bring their cupcakes to share with the public with a little competition thrown in. Ticket were $10 for the event and then you got 7 tickets to use to get cupcake to taste.
1 ticket for amatures and 2 tickets for professionals.
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait til next year. I'm thinking I might enter......
Some of the cupcakes up for judging
I took home 7 cupcakes to try....
The amateurs:
Top left-chocolate cake with peanut butter icing AMAZING!
Top right- lemon cake with Italian butter meringue with strawberry glaze- okay
Bottom left- caramel macchiato- do dense
Bottom right- honey lavender cake with honey icing- I did not like this one at all the honey was way to strong for my taste, everyone else seemed to think it was amazing so I guess it was just me.
The pros:
Top left: key lime cake with key lime icing- PERFECT!
Bottom left: vanilla cake with strawberry icing with mini pop-tart- good! the cake was a little more dense than I like, icing was the best part!
Bottom right: green tea cupcake with green tea icing- Addie took a bite and than said "What is that?!?!" and then spit it out. I've been wanting to try a green tea cupcake so I got it. It was okay but I don't think I'll order one again, but if you have a party and have some there I might try it;)
Easter Egg hunt at our house
This was the first year that we hid eggs at our house on Easter. The Easter Bunny came while we were at church because he knew that the Easter is really about celebrating Jesus not about the basket and eggs and he thought going to church and reading about the good news was the best way to start the day.
So after church, after lunch, and after quite time Adelynn finally got to go and find her Easter eggs!
and Uncle Scotty's head....
And even Mr. Mike's head!
