Muffin Tin Monday
We have done a couple of Muffin Tin Mondays at our house but I never seem to get a picture.
Yesterday was President's day so I tried to make that the theme.
Star PB&J's, pretzel sticks (Abe's log cabin), cherry yogurt (George's cherry tree) & Teddy Grahams (because we just bought them at the store and Addie really wanted them or Teddy Roosevelt)
It's amazing if I put it in a muffin cup Addie will eat it!
Pattern Blocks
Yesterday during quite time Addie was a little too quite so I went in to check on her and I found her sorting her pattern blocks. She is so Craig's daughter!

Happy Chinese New Year
Last Saturday the kids and I head over to the Crow Collection of Asian Art. They were having special activities for children to celebrate Chinese New Year.
We got a new stroller last week and Adelynn is loving pushing her little brother around.
We got special treat to take home. Addie tried a couple of things mostly the candy but she passed on the watermelon seeds and candied coconuts.

Okay I know I shouldn't let her do this but I swear it was really cold outside and we couldn't go to the park and play so you do what you've got to do to keep the house in order ;)

Today it's in the 80's and I've been dying to go to the zoo, so we went!
My friend Allison (the world traveler she just got in from Africa Wednesday) was in town for a couple of days and so she joined us on our little trip.

We had a great time and it was a nice way to caught up on Allison life! Can't wait for her next visit- And maybe next time she in town we can go to the zoo with her niece and nephew!

A Little Taste of Spring
The weather has been amazing here this past week and after being stuck in the house due to the snow and ice we are taking advantage of it! We've played in our backyard, gone to the school around the corner to play and today we went to the park.
I told Adelynn before Bible Study that we were going to the park later and it was all she talked about on our ride to church and as soon as I picked her up she told her teacher Mr. John "We're going to the park!"
As soon as we got to the park she was off!

Asher was there too! He really wanted to play, but since he is still a couple of weeks away from walking, he got to experience the park mostly from his stroller.
I let Asher try out the swing but.....
I don't think he liked it!
