A moment with Claire

I think any post that mentions Claire's age will start this way.
I can't believe Claire is 3 months old!
Most people can't believe she is 3 months because she seems so small.
She is long but still very slender. No rolls on this baby :(

Last week Grandma sent Claire a bumbo.
This picture sums up Asher and Claire's relationship.
Claire is in love with her big brother and Asher thinks Claire is the best thing, next to food.

Claire want to stand up and move her legs all the time. SO even though she can't reach the bottom of the ExerSaucer I got it out for her to explore.

She loves it!

Indoor Safari

We headed to the Indoor Safari in Plano last week with some of our BFFs.

Asher playing in the balls

The kids waiting patiently to ride the dinosaur

Addie riding the dinosaur...Asher decided it was too scary!

Addie, Z, & L on the train

One area had a doll house, kitchen, train set, pirate play set, etc.
I think this was Adelynn's & Z's favorite place at the Safari.

The kids had a blast but I really don't know if its worth the price without a groupon.

Vegetable garden

We've had a dead space in our backyard since we moved in. I've been wanting to put a vegetable garden  there but I don't really have a green thumb. So when my dad was here he helped me get it started.

Pa Pa and Addie turning the soil.

Addie painting the herb garden pots.

Asher got bored painting. He explored the backyard

Asher getting stuck during his exploration

Dad and me doing the hard work ;)

The finished product! I think it looks great and after just a couple of weeks the dogs have stopped digging in it, the plants are growing and we have one green tomato.
Did you notice the colored tomato cages- so my thing!

Thank you Dad for your help I'm loving it and can't wait until our tomatoes, pepper, squash and herbs are ready to eat!

A Rainy Day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo Friday (like we do most Fridays)
This zoo trip was a little different, it was a rainy day.
It looked like rain before we headed out but I wasn't really thinking when I was getting them dressed.
Addie & Asher were wearing shorts and sandals.

First stop at the zoo was the gift shop for umbrellas.
We couldn't let the rain stop us!

Asher is at such a fun age. He is starting to recognize animals.
He was thrilled to see a Cheetah. However I think his favorite animal at the zoo is a tiger.

After an hour or so it started raining/misting and we were getting soaked!
So we decided it was time to head to carousel and than home.

The zoo is fun- even in the rain!

Medieval Times

For Do-Dads Christmas gift the Wilson kids took him to Medieval Times.

The boys look super excited!

I think our first family picture since Claire was born.

Adelynn got a princess hat, I think she's worn it everyday since.

We tried to get a picture of KiKi and Do-Dad.
We took a million and one and this might be the best.

We cheered for the Red knight.

Our cute nephew Miles. Think he looks a little like his daddy???

Asher with his favorite person!

School Rodeo

Addie's class has been studying Texas the past couple of week. She learned about blue bonnets, cowgirls, horses, and the flag. On Wednesday her class had a rodeo. It was the cutest thing ever !
All the kids wore their best western gear!

Waiting in line for the milk relay

Another Pee-Wee Panhter adventure

Today we got to visit the elementary school that Adelynn will attend in Fall 2013.

MPE Panther and Addie

Ice Breaker game- if you catch the ball you say your name and what you want to be when you grow up. Today Addie's answer was ballerina.

After P.E. we visited the outdoor classroom for a lesson on worms.

We heard a story, learned facts, sang a song, ate a worm (gummy), AND we got to take a worm home with us, Adelynn named her worm Masseur

Wiggle Worm Song

Waiting in the hall for music

Music class the kids sang 4 songs with Ms. May. Addie did a little dancing!

MPE did a great job I can't wait until Adelynn get to go to school here
 I know she'll have a great experience!

Pasta sensory box

I've been collecting ideas for lessons for Adelynn and Asher this summer. I've been seeing a lot of fun sensory boxes on pinterest. I thought the pasta sensory box was perfect because I had 4 half used boxes in my pantary.

While Asher was still sleeping I thought I'd let Adelynn explore so she wouldn't interrupt his play time.

I had to move the box to the table because the dogs wanted to eat it!

Asher doesn't like to get too sticky or dirty so he wasn't too sure about the pasta box.

After about 5 minutes he was done and was feeding the pasta to the dogs! I guess I'll try a different box next week. Hopefully Asher will enjoy it a little more!

Don't worry we didn't let the boys eat too much!

Claire's first trip to the zoo

We went to the zoo last week, it was Claire's first of many trips to come!

notice the Mavs gear!

We were excited to check out the new Koala walkabout with our BFF's

Trying to get a picture with all the kiddos looking. Between me and K we had 7 kiddos!

Yes that is a bird on K's head

We had a fun time and look forward to our trip next Friday!
