Heather's Highlights!: Grandma, Pa Pa, and Mickey Too!

Disneyland 2010

We headed out west to visit my parents and Mickey once again. Addie recognized Grandma and Pa Pa when we got off the plane which made everyone happy. She had a good time loving on Grandma and PaPa and all the Disney characters she met. Shelly even came to the parks for some fun with us all.

Day 1

We got to the park at 5 and stayed for only 2 hours. It was a long day for Adelynn!

We made it to California Adventure 5 minutes before the Pixar Parade started and we still managed to get great seats!

The grandparents let her fly Dumbo for like....2 seconds then they took over the controls.

Day 2

Wasting time while we waited for the park to open. Addie woke up at her normal time which was 5 a.m. California time. So we had to waste 4 hours in and around the hotel... long morning.

We went to Minnie's Character Breakfast. It's more then we normally spend on breakfast during vacation but it was worth it. Tons of characters stopped by our table (Addie was in heaven) and the food was good too!

Minnie Mouse the best part of the character breakfast. Addie got an autograph book (thanks Grandma) and she got all of her Disney friends to sign it.

"No Pirates!!!! No Pirates!!!!" that's all Addie had to say and Hook was nice enough to stay away from our table.

Chip stopped by our table a number of times and each time he reminded Addie to eat her waffles. :)

Silver Mist- one of the newer fairies. She was great! After Addie gave her a hug and got an autograph Silver Mist and Adelynn played hide and go seek while we waited for Tinker Bell.

I was so sad to see Mary without Addie, she was taking a nap. I had to get a picture with her for Adelynn. Mary ranks up there with the princess in Addie's book.

Grandma got these princesses for Addie. She loves them! Kept her busy on the plane ride home.

Day 3

We tried to visit the Princesses on our trip to Disneyland but the wait was around 2 hours...too long for a 2 year old. So on our last day it was our first stop. We waited about 20 minutes before they opened and then another 15 once the princesses were accepting visitors. During the long wait Addie played with my iPhone on Daddy's head.
