Adelynn's 3rd Birthday Party!

We had Addie's birthday party December 11th. Adelynn picked a princess party (no surprise to anyone). She has been talking and dreaming of her birthday party for months, When the day was a approaching it was all she could talk about. She helped pick out what type of cake she wanted, food, activities, I think she might grow up to be a party planner ;)

Addie dressed up as her favorite princess Cinderella

I was going to make cute princess cupcakes but while I was looking for ideas online she saw this one and she had to have it. This was my first attempt at sculpting a cake, it was easier than I thought it would be but it was also an easy shape :)

 Some of Addie's best pals!

The first craft the kiddos worked on was making a crown. I also had Christmas ornaments for the boys but to my surprise the boys wanted to make crowns!
After the crowns the kids got to decorate a castle or manger with stickers. Addie's teenage cousin even had some fun playing with the stickers!

Family and Friends:
Adelynn is very blessed to have so much family that live in the Dallas area. She was super excited that her Grandma and PaPa got to come to her special party this year, it was their first time that they got to celebrate with her- yeah for retirement!

Food and Cake:

everyone singing to the birthday girl

You can't tell that she loves being the center of attention can you?

Addie checking to see if there was any icing left on her Cinderella doll

Aunt Catherine made the beautiful fruit bouquet for this special occasion!

 Game time!
Instead of pin the tail on the donkey we had put the princess in the castle. It was the first time many of the kids were blindfolded. Some kiddos weren't too pleased that they couldn't see. Addie loved this game and we've gotten to play many times over in the past couple of days. I think it time for it to disappear.

Zev even gave it a try. We didn't even try to blindfold him ;)

Present time:

We all had a great time and I'm already thinking of a fun theme for Asher first birthday!
Thanks to Maci for taking all of these amazing pictures!

Look at me I'm 3!

Addie turned 3 on December the 1st. She could hardly wait until the big day, she's been talking about it for months!

Every year on Adelynn's birthday we do 3 things:
1. Family breakfast
2. Picture with Santa
3. Eat a cupcake at Sprinkles with KiKi

Addie woke up to a room full of balloons and a special princess balloon

First stop of the day Krispy Kreme for a special birthday sugar filled breakfast with the family.

Enjoying the doughnut so much she couldn't look up at the camera!

Her favorite princess this month!
Adelynn had to go to school today but while at school she got a call from Cinderella wishing her a happy birthday (Thanks Lorene) Addie was in heaven when she heard the special message.

 Pictures with Santa!
This was the first year that Addie didn't cry. We are guessing that next year Asher will be crying so we were very happy to get this picture of the two of them relatively happy ;)
Addie practice what she would say to Santa-
I've been good on most days and I want PRINCESSES! and Asher wants a buitar
(guitar for those that don't speak toddler)
 Sprinkles chocolate marshmallow cupcake

KiKi came over an delivered Addie her some birthday gifts- They were mostly clothes, Addie wasn't too excited but Craig and the wallet love that Vicki gets her clothes every year.

Asher watching his big sissy opening her Christmas dress.
